Working with AliDeck, NS Engineering delivered a full refurbishment using our non-combustible Junior Board in anthracite grey—transforming the balconies into safe, attractive, and long-lasting outdoor spaces.

As a Made in Britain manufacturer, AliDeck designs and produces aluminium decking systems with safety, durability, and compliance front of mind. Our powder coating facility applies a high-quality Class 2 Powder Coating to all boards, using a meticulous seven-stage pre-treatment process. This is key for Pacific Heights, as it needs to withstand the local marine environment and ensure long-lasting performance.

The AliDeck Junior Board was selected for its slim profile, versatile application, and integrated water management features. Replacing the warped, splintered timber, the new aluminium decking provided an immediate boost to safety, in line with current regulations.

With an A2-s1, d0 and A2fl-s1 fire rating, the Junior Board meets BS 8579:2020 and EWS1 standards—ensuring peace of mind for residents and landlords. Its concealed fixings provide a neat, seamless finish and eliminate trip hazards, while its low maintenance requirements reduce long-term upkeep costs.

The anthracite grey finish not only modernised the aesthetic but also ensures long-term fade resistance. The coating, applied to Qualicoat Seaside Standard, is resistant to UV degradation, salt corrosion, and everyday wear—making it ideal for exposed balcony areas.
