New Build Balcony Decking & Soffit Installation for Troy Homes, Egham, Surrey

On any new build project, coordination between trades is everything. By the time AliDeck and Alu Installations came on board, the structural steels had already been fabricated and were in place, meaning the soffit drainage solution had to work around an existing steel configuration rather than being designed in from the outset.

Rather than treating this as a problem, Alu Installations and our team worked together to engineer a solution that suited the structure as built. The result was a bespoke wrap-around gutter system, designed to collect water effectively from the balcony surface while also protecting the steel posts from water ingress and long-term corrosion. With the drainage solution confirmed, Alu Installations installed AliDeck’s aluminium decking boards and balcony soffit system across all three balconies, delivering a non-combustible, low-maintenance finish that meets current building regulations and is built to last.
