Our team recently visited a newly completed remediation project in Sutton, South London, delivered by installed, Eco Green Group on behalf of their client, Greystar.
As one of the largest property owners and operators in the world, Greystar is a valued repeat client for AliDeck, with this project marking another in a growing number of buildings we have worked on together to bring existing building stock in line with current regulations.
The project saw the remediation of 180 balconies across two residential towers, with the existing combustible composite decking fully removed and replaced with a non-combustible aluminium system.
Every balcony was surveyed and specified by the AliDeck team ahead of installation, ensuring the right solution for each individual balcony across both blocks.
The specification included our Lite Board, supplied as a custom extrusion tailored to the project, supported by Lite Joists, Adjustable Pedestals, and Spreader Plates.
The full system is A-Rated for fire performance, delivering a compliant, durable, and low-maintenance outdoor space for residents for decades to come.
This project is the latest in a series of successful collaborations between AliDeck and Greystar, remediating balconies across their UK portfolio and bringing current building stock up to today's fire safety standards.
