AliDeck Become ARMA Partners – Association of Residential Managing Agents – to better serve residential leasehold property sector
Retrofit, regen, refurbishment and remediation are the “Four Rs” that represent a huge amount of construction activity in the low to high-rise housing sector following recent changes in building regulations and legislation.
Since the Grenfell fire there has been tremendous upheaval in the construction and housing sectors. With changing requirements for construction materials in multi-occupancy buildings, recent new legislation, and the ongoing EWS1 fire risk assessment saga, property managers have found themselves faced with major fire safety remediation works.

In order to better serve this key sector of the UK housing market, AliDeck has become a Partner of ARMA, the Association of Residential Managing Agents. Founded in 1991, ARMA is the leading trade association for residential leasehold management. ARMA describe their Partners, such as AliDeck, as “a company that is not directly involved in the block management of flats but whose services are essential for managing agents”.
ARMA was created to “bring together professionals incolved in private residential block management” and list the following key functions of their organisation;
- Set high standards in residential block management
- Require our members to meet those standards
- Provide technical advice and guidance to our members
- Produce information and advice notes for leaseholders
- Run training courses on the leasehold system
- Promote professionalism in property management
- Campaign for improvements in relevant legislation and policy
By becoming ARMA Partners, AliDeck will be best placed to provide support to many hundreds of residential property managers, responsible for thousands of multi-occupancy buildings in the UK. With many of these blocks potentially faced with complex fire safety remediation works, the expertise of the AliDeck team now easily available to them will hopefully help them to move their works forward and secure a fire safe future for their tenants and occupiers.
