Introducing the AliDeck aluminium decking operations team, our hub for order management

Last week, as part of our series of features on all aspects of AliDeck, we took a close look at our sales department. Today, we join our operations team to discover how orders process through our systems once sales have completed their work.

Our operations manager, Marion, is the heart of our aluminium decking operations team. Marion picks up new orders as soon as sales gurus Kizzy and Hattie have entered all the details into our database. Marion immediately checks stock levels and places new orders with our suppliers if required to help make sure there are no surprises with our lead-times.

Marion is in charge of making sure that our stock levels are kept at where we need them to satisfy metal decking demand, and she manages this across our several locations in the UK. When our customers opt for custom extrusion (available for orders above 500KG), Marion takes care of arranging the special order with our extruders and then the powder-coating of the order afterwards. From there, Marion arranges for these bespoke orders to go straight to the client, for a seamless experience!

AliDeck provide a quick delivery service to all parts of the UK and Marion is there to guarantee that this high expectation is always met. Marion will discuss with our transporters the weight and length of the decking boards and arrange appropriate carriage. With well-established relationships with delivery providers, Marion is usually able to organise the trickiest of deliveries on the tightest deadlines for total customer satisfaction.

After delivery is complete, Marion will follow up with a call to yourself to make sure that everything has gone to plan and that all is well.
