New “Baby Blue” RAL Effect Colour 660-6 Powder-Coat as Special Request for School Aluminium Decking Project

As aluminium decking, balcony component, and structures experts of many years standing, we are very familiar with powder-coat finishes. Offering 10 standard RAL Colours in our aluminium decking, soffit cladding and balustrade ranges, most of the common and popular choices for architectural metalwork paint are covered but we are able to provide any RAL Colour on request as a special order.

A recent request for a “Baby Blue” powder-coat finish was a new one to us all, though!

Destined for installation in a very exciting project at a school, the aluminium decking was specified in RAL Effect Colour 660-6, a very pleasant (but not common for flooring!) light blue. Intended to form part of a larger visual effect, the end result should be striking and we will be keeping you posted on developments as we make site visits.

With our new seven-stage pre-treatment automatic powder-coat line, we were able to quickly and efficiently source and formulate the correct colour, from the RAL Effect water-based range of powder-coat colours. Now coated, the aluminium decking order is ready for shipment to our customer. While special colour orders do add to the lead-time, managing the process in-house like this allows us to keep production time down to a minimum.

We are looking forward to seeing these “Baby Blue” decking boards take their place in this unique project and can’t wait to share some completed installation photographs with you. It’s going to be a real peach of a job!
