With four confirmed schemes across Leeds and Liverpool, our aluminium decking systems have been specified to replace combustible timber balconies and help deliver long-term compliance, durability, and safety.

Clear Line has made AliDeck their go-to aluminium decking supplier, consistently including our systems in their submissions to the Building Safety Regulator (BSR) for balcony remediation works. AliDeck is a trail-blazing innovator in the balcony market, known for delivering cost-effective, fully compliant aluminium decking systems that are manufactured and powder-coated in the UK. All our decking boards meet A2-s1, d0 and A2fl-s1 fire ratings and comply with BS 8579:2020, helping our partners achieve regulatory approval with ease. With over 1,800 square metres of decking due to be installed across these schemes, this partnership is a bold step towards futureproofing high-rise homes and removing legacy fire risks—while also delivering efficient and attractive balcony upgrades.

Each project under the Clear Line Maintenance banner brings its own technical requirements—but a consistent focus on safety, performance, and installation efficiency has led to the specification of AliDeck’s Senior Flat and Ridged Boards.

This development will see 470 square metres of timber decking removed and replaced with our Senior Flat Board in RAL 8014, a deep brown finish. The board’s smooth profile and drainage-friendly design make it ideal for multi-residential balconies, offering both aesthetic uplift and long-term fire safety.

One of the more bespoke projects, 605 square metres of our Senior Flat Board will be supplied in custom extrusion lengths to reduce cutting on-site. A combination of angle trim and a bespoke Z-section will provide the perfect fit for the varied balcony configurations. RAL 8014 has again been chosen for visual continuity and architectural harmony.

This riverside site covers 505 square metres across Blocks 1, 3 and 7, all of which will be upgraded with our Senior Ridged Board in RAL 7030, a contemporary light grey tone. The ridged finish delivers added slip resistance while maintaining the same structural and compliance performance as our flat systems.

Finally, 250 square metres of aluminium decking will be delivered to X1 Aire, again using our Senior Flat Board in RAL 8014. By standardising systems across multiple Leeds projects, Clear Line Maintenance is streamlining product specification and achieving efficiencies in both delivery and installation.

All AliDeck systems are powder-coated in-house using a Qualicoat Seaside Standard process. Our seven-stage pre-treatment ensures excellent powder adhesion and corrosion resistance, while our use of Class 2 powder coating delivers a superior finish that performs in even the most demanding environments. We etch to 2g/m² and run continuous quality testing, far exceeding industry expectations.
